My grandfather gave me his Kindle a few weeks ago and I have really enjoyed using it! Life has been really busy, so I haven't had as much time as I would like to use it, but it sure is convenient when I do have time to sit down and read. They used to be pretty expensive when they first debuted, but now they are great price! Definitely worth looking into if you read lot or travel!
This is my reading list for Fall!

i didn't think i would love the kindle, as i love to collect books. however, mama can't be wrong has one, and she loves it because you can easily get word definitions.
ReplyDeletei love it because i can read her trashy nora roberts books and no one knows what i'm reading!!
The Heart of the Matter and The Help are both good books. Read those this summer. Let us know how the others are!
ReplyDeletei'm wondering if i will not enjoy the kindle because the concept of holding a book, turning the last page, even the smell of it will be gone.
ReplyDeleteinteresting review on it though :)
LOVED The Help!
ReplyDeleteHaven't read the rest, but I loved The Help. It was an easy read, but was pretty powerful. Hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI have a reading addiction! With my job I don't get to read as much as I like to and typically have to take breaks from about November to April. I could read on Sundays but my problem is that if I get into the book, I get addicted and can't put it down! So, in order to get as much of the little sleep I get during those months, I don't really allow myself to read. I'm a not-so-in-the-closet closet dork!
ReplyDeleteAnyways, onto my point! I have a few days off and a couple days ago I read Heart of the Matter! Very cute and actually makes you think about what you are look for in love :) let me know what you think!
Awesome! I've wanted a kindle! There's something about turning the physical pages that really makes me happy though!
ReplyDeleteI love my Kindle! I use it all the time.
ReplyDeleteI want!! I think I shall be asking for one for my birthday come October.
ReplyDeleteI want to read The Help too! It's on my bookshelf waiting for me :)
ReplyDeleteThe Help- I love it so much that I refuse to read the ending. Seriously, four months later and it's still "being read". You'll love it!
ReplyDeleteThe Best of Times is a great read! Very interesting because the author is British, so she uses words that have different definitions than here in the US. Gets kind of confusing at times - but still a fantastic book!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that you got the kindle! I'm getting one because my textbooks are on there and I can read anything I want at any time! You have to do some book reviews on these :) I am looking for some new books!
ReplyDeleteThe Help is SUCH a great book!! I just finished it!
ReplyDeleteAnd I really want to try a kindle.. I'm so used to holding a book I don't know how I would like it!
