Okay, well, since everyone else is stating their opinion, I may as well give mine too. First off, if I hear the word "CHANGE" one more time....I just don't know what I will do to be honest. Change..... change for what? I will tell you what will change. The morality in America will be non-existent in our government. We have a democratic majority in Congress, who are thrilled to be working with a democratic president, who, in turn will eventually place democratic, liberal justices in our judicial branch. Bring on abortion, gay marriage, and world-peace why don't you?
World peace will never happen. It does not line up with biblical prophecy. I think Obama being elected president is a stepping-stone for the end times. As soon as American becomes friendly with dangerous countries in trying to achieve world peace, they will turn their backs on us in a heartbeat. Muslim countries hate America, and to see us all dead to bring glory to Alah, is their main purpose in life. You watch. When our troops are taken out of the middle east and our defense intelligence department gets a budget cut, get ready for possible attacks on America. Is that the 'change' you were looking for?
I do not care that Obama is black. It is not about the color. He could be Latino, and I would still disagree with his politics.
However, I will now make point #2. Christians don't need to be complainers. You have a right as an American citizen to voice your opinion, so take a few days and voice it. Then, it's time to put on your big boy or girl pants and get over it. God says in the Bible to respect those in authority, so as hard as it is, be respectful to our president. Don't give Christians as a bad name by acting out all the time.
Now, point #3....Don't worry- America will get what it asked for. In time. The Lord will be glorified because everything is in His hands anyhow.

I totally agree with you and even though I am scared for my future children and to live in a country with the ideals of our president, we should back down see what happens and trust in the Lord that He is the one who is in control not Obama! In the end it will not matter who is in control even though it might mean some bad times getting to the end.
ReplyDeleteI really think that it is a win win situation for christians. This is clearly part of God's plan and all we need to do it sit back and wait for whatever we are supposed to do. American's will regret that they have elected Obama at least in the next two years and Republicans will be voting back into the house. I do also agree that it is a stepping stone for end times. Israel is talking about making peace which is in the bible that Israel will do that!
